YOUR INVITATION TO SOMETHING NEW

Introducing Athena Newbury West

Could Athena Newbury West be your new business community?

A place to build genuine relationships, grow your network and be surrounded by women who want to see you and your business succeed.

I'm delighted to be launching a brand new Athena group for businesswomen in and around Newbury West, and I'd love you to come and experience it for yourself.

Athena is about far more than swapping business cards and delivering a 60 second pitch. It's about building trusted relationships that lead to introductions, recommendations, collaborations and opportunities, while being part of a supportive business community where you feel welcome, valued and connected.

A NEW GROUP. AN ESTABLISHED COMMUNITY.

Three and a half years ago, our West Berkshire Athena community had just 18 members. Today we're 65 women across four established groups, and Newbury West will become our fifth.

So while Newbury West is brand new, you won't be starting from scratch. You'll immediately be part of the wider West Berkshire Athena community, with opportunities to connect and do business beyond your own group.

Through Athena's PASS+ scheme, that network can extend nationally and internationally too, so your business may be local, but your network doesn't have to be.

ONLINE CONVENIENCE, REAL LIFE CONNECTIONS

Athena Newbury West meets online once a month, giving you a protected two hour space to focus on your business, build relationships and grow your network, without losing time to travel.

You'll also have regular chances to meet face to face through Cappuccino Connections, business events and workshops across West Berkshire.

Online keeps you connected every month. In person is where the relationships deepen. You get both.

TWO WAYS TO EXPERIENCE ATHENA. ONE £30 TICKET.

October Cappucino Connections

Wednesday October 14th, 10am to 12pm, The Parade Cinema, Marlborough.

Meet existing Athena members in person and see what the community is really like.

Athena Newbury West Launch

Thursday 15 October 2026, 12 noon to 2pm, online via Zoom.

Experience a full Athena business meeting and meet the women who could become part of this new group.

You don't need to be a confident networker, and you don't need to know anyone before you arrive. We're building this one together. My role is to make sure you feel welcomed, help you make introductions and create the space for genuine relationships to grow.

COULD YOU BE A FOUNDER MEMBER?

There's something special about joining a group right at the beginning. Founder Members help establish the culture and community of Athena Newbury West from day one. Athena holds one professional seat per profession, so your area of expertise may currently be available.

There's no pressure to decide before you come. Experience Athena, meet the women, ask your questions, and see how it feels.
